Wagner Ware was based in Sydney Ohio. Wagner was active between 1891 and 1952. He was a very powerful manufacturer in Europe and the United States. The company's buyers continue the brand, and Wagner products are still produced today. The original item is highly valued by the collector.
In 1896, Joseph Lodge founded a company called Lodge Cast Iron in Tennessee South Pittsburgh. The lodge manufacturing company has been operated in the same place since 1910, today it is the oldest cast iron cookware manufacturer in the US, still owned by the lodges.
Seasoning was traditionally done with lard or bacon grease, but this is not a problem yet. If you do not use your pan frequently, animal fat often rot. Cooking oil can be used to keep seasoning and cast iron skillet. By painting a thin layer after each cleaning, your skillet is seasoned and ready for decades.
Here, there is a simple frying pan recipe that can be offered in about 35 minutes.
Skillet poppy of chicken and biscuits
2-3 tons. Extra virgin olive oil
1 TSP of fresh exhausted time
Two cloves garlic minceo
1 Onion Dice
I cut two carrots.
2 celery
1 teaspoon of potatoes
Kosher salt / fresh ground black pepper
1/4 cup of flour
2 1/2 cup chicken broth
1/4 cup heavy cream
1.5 lbs without bone chicken dairy product die 1/2 inch piece
1 cup of frozen peas
1/2 cup of frozen corn
2 tablespoons parsley
1 package biscuits
1 beaten egg
Instruction
From preheating oven to 400 degrees
Using a medium-size cast iron pan, add olive oil, add time, garlic, potatoes, celery, carrots and onions. Stir fry with a wooden spoon until the vegetables are soft, about 5-7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and add flour. Continue foaming until it is cooked and incorporated well. Stir the broth and cream slowly until the mixture is smooth. Add chicken and boil. Simmer until simmering for about 5 minutes. Mix peas, corn, and parsley. Make the biscuits upside down to a uniform layer and wash the eggs on the top of the brush. Bake the biscuit to golden brown and bake until filling bubbles for about 25 minutes. Serve right away.
