For many years, I was watching a side image of a veteran and a Hollywood person, the caption "Heroes are not named after the jersey ..." or "Heroes are wearing dog tags ...". I honestly get you points, I think those posts are not worth me. Yes, I am a veteran. Yes, I respect people like Kyle Carpenter, Dakota Myer, Michael P. Murphy. And yes, I regard them as heroes. But outside my world, many people do not expect to know who they are and the pillars they made.
But what is a hero? The hero is different from different people. In other words, it is ignorance that only heroes come in veteran form. Because I have over 27 years of my life to this country, I am partial to service members. But can you even know a young child who does not know anything about the army, the behavior of the Medal Order, or what the purple heart is? He looks for people like LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant. These are the people he is involved in. People who provide him with hope and inform him that his dreams are achievable despite the situation. Who do you say that I interpret this hero as wrong? How about a child who wants to make Denzel Washington an actor like a university? Acting is the place where his passion is, so it is his hero. How about a hard factory worker working day to day to feed a family? At the end of the day, he can not stand straight because of all the internal pain. But he still helps around the house and takes time to play with his daughter.
There was none who looked up to those who respected and served until they lost veteran sons and daughters. If I did not join or study the army, does the handshake of the Navy Cross or the Medal of Honor have meaning to me truly? I truly believe that I do not have the same weight if I do not serve my country. But my ultimate true hero is my grandmother. He is not an actor, a celebrity, or an athlete. He worked for the army, but he was awarded the medal. But he is independent of my hero! He is a man who showed me to make my work ethical. He showed me how to treat your important others and to play a role as a person in the house. He showed discipline to me, but at the same time, he taught us why you take discipline. He showed me the balance between God and my family. He indicated to me that he did not need to have a lot of money and materials to become rich.
Regardless of who my kids chose to become the main character or role model, I question as follows. Is this a person leaving the street? Is this a person giving hope to them? Does this person have a positive influence? Is this the person they want to get better? If the answer is "yes", who is the judge?
