Whether writing or not - Challenging the study of Chinese -2

The most difficult thing for beginners to decide is whether to tackle the challenge of learning the Chinese writing system (Hansey).

Many people decided not to do so. The reason is self explanatory. You can learn conversational Chinese much faster when you are not struggling to master complicated stroke rules and radicals. Instead, these learners focus on Pinyin and write Roman Chinese. They still need to memorize spelling and tones yet, but they can learn and build vocabulary more quickly. Three months later, it is easy to see that learners who practice Chinese are behind pinyin learners on vocabulary and sentences.

But you can see building this card house, in other words, building this approach. The foundation is not there. There are some really big problems people encounter when neglecting writing in Chinese. The first thing is an homonym. Homonyms are words that sound similar to other words - for example "made" and "maid". They have different meanings, but the only way to know is spelling and context. There are homonyms with different sounds in Chinese, but some homophones have the same exact sound. The only difference is the letter.

The second problem encountered by Pinyin learners is when learners have to start from scratch later, that is, when they need to start with scratch. Fluent conversational Chinese speaking people will probably learn letters like Chinese schools - a system called Bopomofo. Is not that a bite?

Bopomofo is basically a way to convert Chinese radicals to syllables. Hanging up makes it easier to read, but I have more to remember. First of all, if you learn bopomofo's alphabet, you get a book so you can see the letters and the sounds printed next to them.

The choices and routes I picked up began by learning letters along Pinyin's vocabulary and equivalent words in English. It is complicated and slow, but if I were not, I would probably quit Chinese. Kicking gained by writing a foreign script will help keep you chasing you. If you plan to use Chinese, you will learn during travel rather than understanding the writing system.

In addition, you can tell people what their tattoo really means.

Either way, it is a matter of personal preference. Actually it sometimes says to say that one method is actually better than another method, but sometimes this is actually dependent on the learner and its learning style. I am a visual person. Visualizing characters helps to connect those words to my mind. Those who have more hearing can learn Chinese with conversational power and move on quickly. There is no wrong way. You can switch at any time.
