My wife is from Parkersburg, Iowa. Since there was a tornado of F5 in May of 2008, half of the town and the only grocery store was destroyed. We travel to Parkersburg every year to celebrate Christmas and many wines are consumed in the week there. There was no liquor store in Parkersburg, the only place that had sold wine was a grocery store that was no longer depleted. By November of last year, I was in a state of panic. We were able to travel 25 miles to buy wine. I can bring it, I can try mail order. For all Christmas gifts I can not afford a car, sometimes Iowa's winter is not kind to a 25-mile trip. So, I arrived at mail order.
I saw the whole web to find a reputable agency. I found New Jersey with a big price for the 2006 Penfolds Merlot Cabernet Sauvignon blend. I sent this incident to my in-law Kristen. It is very easy to drink, I guess that there are several bottles left at this Christmas. Chris is a single mother who did very well for himself. She lives in a 60-year-old two-storey house and is the best room to store wine in the basement. I love filling the room with various wines she can enjoy. I promise to work on this.
My father-in-law is the mayor of Parkersburg. He is a great person. I do not know when you will change the world. His greatest contribution could be said to have provided leadership to help establish a new weather forecast siren a few days before the tornado strikes. On May 26, 2008, Spotterler outside the town called up to report a large tornado heading to Parkersburg, old and new things worked. Approximately ten minutes later, the old siren became ineffective and it was the new siren that kept all people in the cellar until there was no danger. If it is not for my great obligation's leadership, I do not think that a new siren is installed before the tornado hits. On that day, six people died at Parkersburg. I say that more people died if his honor has not confirmed that the initial weather forecasting system has been updated.
My father-in-law and I appreciate good red wine. Both he and I like the old standard Robert Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon. I remember bringing a bottle for several years for Thanksgiving for a year. My daughter-in-law and I drank three bottles myself. I do not think I got up from the table for several hours. I joked too much and thought I was cheerful. My wife, the daughter of his honor, I thought it was not so because I was informed later.
Quite often I took my in-law into a bottle of Freemark Abby Merlot or Cabernet. We are having fun together. Last Christmas I was planning to bring some exceptional red wine bottles in the car to the mayor, but once again I could not afford a few. I browsed the web and discovered that Columbia Crest was selling. Not only they have sales, but I can ship it for pennies. It can be shipped in $ .01 anywhere in the United States. What a deal!
I need to tell my wife and I enjoyed many kinds of Colombian Crest wine. Quite often, you can find the case of Grand Estates Chardonnay in the kitchen wine cooler. The 2005 and 2006 vintage is exceptional. I purchased all the vintage Grand Estate Chardonnay we found. There are many cases in the wine room. I also like the underlying Columbia Crest Two Vines Merlot. This is consistently good and often can be found at less than $ 10. Columbia Crest Two Vines Merlot in 2003 is my favorite. I still have at least 3 cases and I enjoy it often.
Well, please go back to my story. So, for Christmas what are you sending to Mayor Red Wine lovers of Parker's Bag Iowa? You are sending the 2006 Columbia Crest Two Vines Cabernet / Merlot case for $ 81.48 plus $ .01 shipping fee. What are you sending a mother and a father's best friend who have a party where half of the town attend Christmas Eve? I guessed six bottles of Columbia Crest Two Vines Shiraz 2006 and six bottles of Chardonnay of Columbia Crest Two Vines 2006 in a shipping cost of $ 81.48 plus $ .01. What are you sending your brother and sister's sister traveling with you to Parkersburg as a special wonderful thing for Christmas? We will send you a case with the same Two Vines Shiraz and Chardonnay together and will deliver the total price of $ 81.49.
As if I am sending about $ 325 wine to Iowaker Christmas' Parkersburg. And when we arrived, the majority of the four wines were still there. We had plenty of chapels to celebrate in style. Winter night was cold, but wine broke the edge. Mary's time was everywhere.
Parkersburg's grocery store was rebuilt. I expect them to sell wine at this Christmas. I have not decided what to send before arrival, but check the Columbia Crest website between Thanksgiving and Christmas to see the good deals they are offering is a good bet It will be.
