You can work in whatever attire you prefer. You do not need to be dressed up. Fixibility of time and place will not be satisfied Flexibility of time and place will not need to be in specific time and place, for a fixed duration just to make sure your work is done ( or just to show people that you are working that day.
Actually, with all the technology available now days, we can do our work almost anywhere, including at home. For believe that we are most productive whenever and where we are comfortable to work. I am a morning person and I found that I am most productive working very early in the morning (1am onwards).
I need to change my sleeping time to cater for my working time. I need the change of place to trigger my creativity and whenever I & # 39 ; m in need of new ideas, creating new website, designing, or even updating my online stores, I will be in a coffee house.
Even now as I am writing this entrée, I & # 39; m having a short family vacation.; P
Even now days with all the exposure, our culture is still quite reserved for working from home (or at home or even the the ... & # 39; flexible & # 39; 39;). We are so absorbed with the 8-to-5 and all-dressed-up culture until we are somewhat ignorant to other available that sometimes is the answer to most of our problem nowdays.
I was quite surprised when I heard comments from listeners of a radio program more than a month ago. Working from home - is it feasible? Only 30% of the callers did support the statement and they were all from from Klang Valley, Johor Bahru or Penang! (No surprise here, I think).
It is not surprised though looking at their reliable though it is not safe to change the time and they are not they ready to change any time soon I am now no more ready to get-up at 5.30am, preparing breakfast for my husband, and then rushing to prepare my sons for their day at babysitter '# house.
Latest by 6.30am every morning, my sons should have been in the babysitter 's house or else my husband will be late for office. Even we are living only 20 km away, journey to work (everyday, twice a day, 5 days a week) will take about 1.5 hours. If take about 1.5 hours. I was hooked up in the routine and my husband only managed to go out after 7am, he will certainly arrive at 2.5 hours later (or more if it was raining).
That was the main reason why I chose to be a WAHM.
I value flexibility, especially being a mom for 2 active children while conducting my work from home. My laptop is always ready at my workspace. Whenever my sons were sleeping or when they were playing on their own, I & # 39; d be at my It is very satisfying. It is never easy and my routine was tailor to suit my new working hours and my sons sleeping time.
For WAHM who are still finding balance, my advice is - Know Yourself, YOUR Limits and YOUR Preference. Working at home is about YOU finding your right time, place and method so you can balance between your work, your interest, your family and time Once you have found that balance, you & # 39; s way might differ from others. To succeed, YOU need to find your own way. I see that it is interesting to be a WAHM.
Cheers!
